At Decathlon, all of our Quechua backpacks are guaranteed for 10 years against normal product wear and tear. In the case of a defect, we recommend its repair, replacement, or a refund. What is its storage capacity?

This backpack has a large compartment for your essentials, two zip pockets, one with an inner pocket for your valuables. A stretchy mesh pocket on the side also fits your water bottle or umbrella.

How comfortable is this backpack?

By developing your product, we have enhanced the comfort with adjustable straps and vertical foam pads on the back. The ventilated fabric on the back and straps provides better ventilation. As a bonus: Thumb loops.

Is this backpack waterproof?

This backpack is water repellent. In light rain, water will roll off without penetrating it. However, it is not completely waterproof. If the rain goes on too long or is too heavy, water will seep through. For extra protection, choose our 10-20L rain cover (ref. 8772113).

Our environmental approach - our commitment to using less water with this product

Dyeing textiles requires a lot of water and discharges wastewater into the environment. To reduce this impact, we use the following two dyeing processes: - We dye one thread in every two for the inner grey component, - We use mass pigmentation, integrating the colour pigments as soon as the yarn is manufactured, for the outer fabric in blue and black (references: 8775634 and 8775637).

Tested for optimum durability and strength

We carry out several laboratory tests to validate the bag's components: fabric, buckles, straps, foam, zips. For example, for a fabric, we test the resistance to abrasion and tearing, colour fastness when exposed to UV light and washing, and waterproofing. We also conduct tests to check the resistance of assembly using a dummy that reproduces the movements of a hiker to replicate several years of wear and tear on the bag.
